Libraries, Archives, and digital Curation
A UMSI Research Group
About
The Libraries, Archives, and digital Curation research group, also known as LARC, explores core areas of information science related to archival studies, digital curation, recordkeeping, and library science. As such, the group convenes scholarly and research interests within the School of Information, and across campus, around these topics. The group’s members engage in the exploration of a wide range of “knowledge environments” in society, such as cultural heritage and collections infrastructure (libraries, archives, and museums), government, health, and education, among other topics. We aim to focus conversations around complex socio-technical information questions related to digital curation, access, use, and discovery from a diverse array of research perspectives.
